Error message: “Extract air sensor fault” in the CI600 control panel – what does it mean?

The error message “Extract air sensor fault” appears when the extract air sensor is activated in the system but no sensor is installed in the unit. Flexit units are normally not delivered with an extract air sensor as standard, and if no sensor has been retrofitted, the system will generate an alarm. To remove the alarm, the function must be deactivated in the CI600 panel. Go to Settings, select Advanced user and enter code 1000. Then go to Configuration, select Sensors, go to Extract air and set the extract air sensor to OFF under Activation. Once this is done, the function is deactivated and the alarm will be cleared.
