Can a humidity-controlled fan run continuously until it is turned off with a switch?

Yes, it is possible, but it depends on the type of humidity-controlled fan you have. Humidity-controlled fans with a timer, often referred to as TH models, can be connected to an external on/off switch between the L and LT terminals, as described in the user manual. When the switch is on, the fan will run continuously. When the switch is off, the fan will only activate automatically at high humidity levels via the humidity sensor. This provides flexibility between manual and demand-controlled ventilation. It is important to note that humidity-controlled fans with timers are designed for demand-controlled operation, not for continuous long-term use. If continuous ventilation is required, we recommend using a fan designed for this purpose, such as Flexit Pro7 or Flexit Vario. These models offer lower energy consumption, lower noise levels, and are suitable for continuous operation.
