The correct replacement motor for a USV central exhaust unit depends on the type of mounting plate the unit has.If the unit has an oval mounting plate and was produced after April 2002, a replacement motor with article number 98320 should be used.If the unit has a round mounting plate and was produced before April 2002, a replacement motor with article number 98319 should be used.

Central exhaust fans of type ULV, USV and USVX can operate at different voltage levels depending on the selected speed setting. The fans run at approximately 80 V at low speed, approximately 150 V at medium speed, and 230 V at maximum speed. This is controlled via the regulator and is normal operation for these models.

Installation of bathroom fans must comply with applicable regulations, and a certified installer is responsible for correct installation in accordance with NEK 400. Most Flexit bathroom fans are suitable for installation in bathroom zone 2, which is the area near a shower or bathtub without direct water exposure. This applies to all models except Flexit Bodo, Flexit Pro7 and Flexit Vario. In bathroom zone 1, which is the area directly above a shower or bathtub without direct water spraying, the following models may be installed provided they are mounted as high as possible and not exposed to water spray: Flexit Bodo, Flexit Pro7, Flexit Vario and Flexit Classic Eco, excluding model 100P. If you are unsure which zone applies to your installation, we recommend contacting the service company that installed the system or the retailer where the product was purchased.

Flexit central vacuum systems use one type of vacuum bag. This is a 14-litre vacuum bag that can be used with all Flexit central vacuum models. This makes it easy to choose the correct bag regardless of which model you have.

The grille on Flexit outdoor vents is made of stainless steel or acid-resistant steel. This means the material has very high resistance to corrosion and will not rust under normal use, even in demanding outdoor environments.

When maintaining central exhaust units of type ULV, USV and USVX, a non-water-based degreasing cleaning agent must be used. One example of a suitable product is denatured alcohol. It is important to avoid water-based agents and to ensure that no liquid enters the motor itself during cleaning.

For CVR central vacuum units, you must use hose kits that are adapted to the CVR series. Flexit offers its own hose kits that are tested and compatible with these models, ensuring correct fit and function. An overview of which hose kits fit the CVR series can be found on Flexit’s website under hose kits for CVR central vacuum units.

For older Flexit central vacuum units, you can use hose kits with an on/off switch. These hose kits are compatible with older Flexit models and allow easy operation directly from the hose.
