There are no fixed standard values for balancing a ventilation unit. The setting values are calculated by those who have designed or balanced the system and depend on how the dwelling or building has been designed. The values will therefore vary from house to house. For correct settings, it is recommended to contact the installer or the company that carried out the balancing of your ventilation system.

Airflow rates are calculated based on the minimum requirements set out in TEK17 for the different room types. In addition, Flexit applies its own professional recommendations to ensure a healthy indoor climate, proper air quality and good comfort during normal use of the dwelling. Occupant load, room function and expected usage are included in the assessment, ensuring that airflow rates are adapted to both regulatory requirements and practical needs.

Technical rooms and installation areas must be designed with sufficient space for the ventilation equipment calculated and specified for the building. There must be good accessibility for installation, commissioning, service and maintenance. In addition, noise conditions must be considered, so that construction, placement and any noise-reducing measures help limit sound transmission to adjacent rooms and occupied areas.

Fire safety in ventilation systems is ensured by limiting the spread of fire and smoke through the duct network. In most projects, the “containment” principle is used, where ventilation ducts are equipped with fire dampers and/or fire insulation when passing through fire-separating constructions. The chosen solution depends on the building’s fire strategy, the ventilation design and applicable regulations. The final solution must always be designed in close cooperation with the responsible fire safety consultant.

A push-button is used to manually start the bathroom fan for a predefined time period. The push-button is connected between L, which is the live phase, and LT, which is the control signal on the fan. When the button is pressed, the fan starts and runs for the number of minutes set on the built-in timer, typically adjustable from 2 to 30 minutes. When the set time has elapsed, the fan switches off automatically. This provides a simple and energy-efficient way to ventilate the bathroom as needed. If you are not comfortable with electrical wiring, we recommend contacting the service company that installed the system or the retailer where the product was purchased.

To pair a wireless hose kit with the central vacuum unit, do the following: First disconnect the power by unplugging the power cord. Then plug it back in. Within 60 seconds after the vacuum unit is connected to power, press and hold the on/off switch on the hose handle for approximately 10 seconds. Once this is done, the hose kit is paired with the central vacuum unit.

To register EcoNordic in Flexit’s cloud service, the unit must be connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable to your router. Make sure your mobile device is also connected to the internet, either via Wi-Fi or mobile data. Open the Flexit GO app on your mobile device and follow the instructions to register the product in the cloud service. If you are unable to register the product, we recommend contacting the service company that installed the system or the retailer where the product was purchased.

Domestic users in Flexit Export markets (all markets except Norway and Sweden) are advised to report claims through the respective Distributor in respective market where the Flexit product was purchased.

Reliable operation and easy servicing are ensured by following the instructions in the system’s operation and maintenance documentation. The most important factors are that the ventilation system is installed correctly in accordance with the design documentation and installation instructions, and that filters are replaced according to Flexit’s recommended intervals. Correct installation and regular filter replacement contribute to stable operation, good air quality and a long service life for the system.

To stop a commercial airhandling unit of the Albatros type with CS2000 control, access the control panel and select the menu “service switch”. Then choose the command “OFF”.Please note that in some cases the unit may continue running for up to 180 seconds before it stops completely. This is a normal function and allows the heating coil to cool down before full shutdown.
