single room ventilator

How much noise does a room ventilator produce?

The noise level of a room ventilator varies between models and depends on factors such as fan speed and installation conditions. Sound levels are typically stated in dB(A) and measured at different operating modes. At low speed, the noise level is lower and suitable for bedrooms and living areas. At higher speeds, the noise level increases and is used when additional ventilation is required. Detailed sound data for each model can be found in the room ventilator brochure.

How often should the fan motor in a central exhaust system be cleaned?

The fan motor in a central exhaust system should be cleaned at least once a year. Regular cleaning helps ensure correct airflow, reduces wear on the motor, and prevents noise and operational issues over time.

Where should the low-voltage cable from the wall inlets be connected?

The low-voltage cable from the wall inlets must be connected to the terminals on the central vacuum cleaner’s control board. These connection points are usually clearly marked and easily accessible on the unit. The cable must be connected to both terminals, and polarity does not matter. Make sure the connection is secure, that the cable is not pinched, and consider fastening it along the pipe system using cable clips. A detailed illustration of the correct connection can be found in the installation manual, typically shown on page 13.

How large is an EcoNordic system, and does it require a lot of space?

The EcoNordic unit itself has dimensions of 120 × 65 × 190 cm. In addition, extra space must be allocated around the unit to ensure good access for service and sufficient room for ductwork and other connections. Requirements for the installation room and necessary clearances are described in the documentation for preparatory works and should be used as a basis to ensure correct design and installation.

What wall thickness is required to install a Roomie room ventilator?

Roomie Dual can be installed in walls with a thickness from 280 mm to 500 mm. Roomie One is suitable for wall thicknesses from 240 mm to 500 mm. If you want to install Roomie One in a thinner wall, a dedicated external cover can be used, allowing installation in walls down to 150 mm thickness. There is ice forming on the wall hood during winter – is this normal?

Yes, in some areas it is normal for ice to form on the wall hood during winter, especially when sub-zero temperatures are combined with high outdoor humidity. When this occurs, the ice must be removed. This is described in the user manual for the product. A more permanent solution is to install a heating cable on the combination box to prevent ice formation. Installation of a heating cable must be carried out by a certified electrician.

I get an error message when trying to register the unit in Flexit GO – what should I do?

If you receive an error message when trying to register the unit in Flexit GO, the most common reason is that the unit is not connected to the internet. Make sure the unit is connected to your router using an Ethernet cable and that the network has an active internet connection. After connecting the cable, wait a few minutes before attempting to register the unit again. Flexit has also created a short video showing how to register the product in the Flexit GO app. You can find it by scrolling down to the section “Registering the product in the cloud service”.

I can’t connect my cvROBO L1 to WiFi – what should I do?

Flexit cvROBO L1 only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi networks. If your router broadcasts both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz at the same time, this may prevent the connection. Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz network. If necessary, temporarily disable the 5 GHz network in the router settings or create a separate SSID for 2.4 GHz. Open the cvROBO app and follow the instructions to add a new device. Press and hold the WiFi button on the unit until it enters pairing mode and follow the light indicator. Select the correct network and enter the password. Refer to the user manual for more detailed guidance.
